JuJitsu, the gentle or flexible art, originated in feudal Japan. It is the parent of many modern martial arts including Judo and Brazilian JiuJitsu.
Arnis, also called Escrima or Kali, is a martial art and national sport of the philipines. The style encompasses all aspects of combat, but is particularly well known for its stick, sword, and knife training methods.
Karate, translated as "Chinese Hand" or "Empty Hand," is the term used to refer to a collection of martial arts originating from the Ryukyu Islands of Japan.
Moontide Martial Arts Academy incorperates concepts, techniques, and principles from some of the world's best fighting arts. The "Core" of Moontide's system consists primarily of a blending of Filipino Martial Arts and Jujitsu, with influences from Jeet Kune Do and contemporary western training methods.
Kid's Classes emphasize Character Development and the building blocks for a healthy lifestyle. Sessions focus on the striking/grappling arts and training with the escrima stick. Some students may choose to compete, but competition is not expected or required.
Adult Classes emphasize a "function first" philosophy.
